The Poron® spring-back membrane evenly distributes the weight of the body across the whole of the foot at every step, cushioning the impact on the heel and absorbing the vibrations transmitted to the joints and spine during walking. It has been shown that a person who weighs 70 Kg applies a weight of about 90 Kg to the foot at each step, corresponding to about 500 tonnes a day. This absorption of the loads applied when walking therefore prevents microtraumas to the feet, knees and spine, and it is the outcome of in-depth studies and severe trials that guarantee efficacy, whether the cushioning effect is provided by the insole alone or combined with that of the footwear.
